BP5: Goal setting doesn’t have to be serious...

I was raised by a badass Latina architect mom of three daughters - a woman who has taught me everything I know about being a good person and caring for the planet.

She raised my sisters and I doing things like “non-violent communication,” where we’d sit back-to-back and lock arms to explain our feelings whenever we fought.

She was the type of mom who would speak to us like equals when we didn’t understand something - she was calm, patient, and curious.

She was the type of mom who, when I’d say “I like making candles,” would say “Owe! Maybe you could start a candle-making company!” - and suddenly I was eight years old with my first business plan.

She’s the type of mom who, when you call her crying because you feel like you’re not doing enough, simply says her famous line: “There’s always another way.”

And then she helps you find it.

And she’s the type of mom who never gets reactive.

She always sees the best in people - and their dreams.

If my mom taught me anything, it’s that I’m capable of living the life of my dreams.

I think that’s why I am the way I am.

I think that’s why I built a company around supporting others in accomplishing their goals - because that’s what my mom did for me.

She’s the reason I believe in possibility.

She’s the reason VISION THREADS exists.

And I want everyone to experience the kind of love and support my mom gave me - the kind that makes you feel like anything is possible.

After about 10 years of self-development seminars, courses, and workshops - topped with the angel of a mother I have - I created something simple but powerful: The 3x3 Method.

It’s a weekly ritual I started doing to stay connected to my goals and my mindset, and the effects have been pretty profound.

I’ve been doing it every week for the past three months - and every time I do, I feel grounded, inspired, and reminded that I get to dream BIG and accomplish whatever I set my mind to.

Just like how my mom would think of me.

Here’s how it works

Every Monday, I write down:

🔮 The “3 x 3 Method”

Three Things I’m Causing (aka: in my control):

These are actions I’m personally responsible for, like:

  • Deep clean the kitchen
  • Go to bed by 10pm every night
  • Read 100 pages of a new book
Three Things I’m Manifesting (aka: not in my control):

These are things I’m calling in but can’t force. For example:

  • A yes from a brand I pitched
  • A miracle around something I’m stressed about
  • An unexpected surprise (aka a win I didn’t see coming)

🌈 The Takeaway

The 3x3 Method isn’t about being perfect - it’s about being present.

It’s a reminder that you’re always co-creating your life.

You’re doing your part (the causing) while trusting the universe to do hers (the manifesting).

It’s simple, it’s grounding, and it brings a little bit of magic back into your week.

Because sometimes all it takes is writing things down to remember how capable you already are.

So here’s your challenge - try it.

Write your 3x3 today.

Write it on paper, keep it in your Notes app, or tape it to your mirror.

And every time you see it, remember:
There’s always another way.

🧠 Challenge of the Week

Do your 3x3 today. Screenshot this format, write it out, and keep it somewhere you’ll see it daily. You’re creating momentum every time you focus on what you can do - and what you’re open to receiving.

Bonus Points if you do this with a friend as an accountability partner. Text them your list every Monday. Check in Friday. Support each other. You’d be shocked how many of those manifestations start showing up just because you named them.
